Communication Tip #3

I guess till the time you might have finished Word Power Made Easy or few with turtle pace like me will finish in a while for sure.

So ready for the next lesson...don't frown as I will try my level best to make the learning simple and fun.

So by now you know the gestures and a sound vocabulary to be an effective communicator.
But are these the only requirements to achieve your goal.

Before I start, let me tell you one story of one of my beloved friend .....Wait ....I am not going to tell what this story is all about. All I could reveal is that he is a Journalist by profession now and his name is Jay who used to be an introvert.

Amazed!! How an introvert can be a Journalist??
Everything is possible if you are determined enough.
Accept your flaws and work on it every single day.

No more Gyan, coming back to the story of glory of Jay Kumar.
He was an average and fun loving student in his school days.
With friends he was a verbose but whenever it came to performing on stage he always took a back step. Yes,you guessed it right he had stage fear.No matter how many times he participated in speech, debate and stage performances(Forcefully),he failed. He was never concerned about his stage fear.He passed his SSC and HSC but still the stage fear was like a nightmare for him.He never wanted to face it.He accepted the fact that he can never overcome this fear.

One thing I forgot to tell you is that he loved writing and was an avid writer.Yes,used to maintain his diary starting from his childhood.Nobody except his closed ones was aware about this.
First question which pops up in our mind is that he was friendly,an avid writer then why he had stage fear.

Many a times we are bothered about what people will say, what would be their reaction and these whirlpool of thoughts hold us back from overcoming the fear.

Wake up and smell some coffee,it is about your life  and what you think about yourself is what matters.

But he was unaware of the fact that he cannot hold this fear anymore if he wants to succeed in his professional life.

He got admission in BA in mass communications, this was the turning point in his life.
First year he tried hard but could not match with the traits required to become a successful journalist.
Second year,he promised to himself no matter what he will overcome the stage fear.
Determination and perseverance is more than enough to achieve anything in life.
He started participating in extracurricular activities, stage performances anything and everything which could help him to overcome his fear.

I have heard a lot that hard work pays off but Jay was the first person to make me realize it does.
He became an avid reader, stage performer and an amazing confident communicator.
So,what he did?
